Arkansas associate head coach Jeff Traylor is set to be named the third head coach in UTSA football history, according to multiple reports Monday.
Traylor spent the past two years with the Razorbacks. Prior to Arkansas, Traylor was the associate head coach at SMU in 2017 and an assistant at Texas in 2015 and 2016.
He started his coaching career at the high school level (Big Sandy), most notably winning three state championships at Gilmer during a 15-year stint from 2000 to 2014.
Traylor will replace Frank Wilson, who was fired from UTSA on Dec. 1 after going 19-29 in four seasons.
